Laura Ryder

Laura Ryder is a dedicated Dog Trainer and Behaviour Consultant with a wealth of experience in the field. With over 25 years working professionally with dogs, Laura has developed a deep understanding of canine behaviour and effective, force-free training techniques. She currently serves as the Head Dog Trainer and Behaviour Consultant at Morley Vetcentre, where she has been a valued team member for many years.

Laura is also a Speaker and Content Creator for the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), a Trainer and Assessor for Applied Vocational Training (AVT) and Member of the Fear Free Speakers Bureau. Her commitment to modern, force-free training approaches and her passion for promoting gold standard animal welfare, have made her a respected figure in the industry.

Laura’s dynamic and informative presentation style has earned her invitations to speak at various conferences, including the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA), Vet Nurses Council of Australia (VNCA), Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), Association of Pet Dog Trainers Australia (APDT), Association of Professional Dog Trainers USA (APDT), and the Pet Professional Guild (PPG). She approaches every opportunity to share her knowledge with enthusiasm and a genuine desire to improve understanding and practices in dog behaviour and training.
